Mick Mortlock – The Imagination Gardener
The world has been horribly mismanaged. Everywhere we turn there is war, starvation, disease, crime, poor education, slavery, human trafficking, dictatorship and much more. Simultaneously the quality of life of the very few has leaped ahead. The gap between the rich and the poor has never been greater.
We cannot count on the current world managers to fix these problems. They are the maintainers of the status quo and have the most to gain from its continuation.
Speaker, writer, organizer Mick Mortlock is building a volunteer (grassroots) network of citizens, teachers, doctors, artists, and researchers to figure out better ways to manage the planet. During 2012, this group will analyze and explain the world’s major problems, describe workable solutions, lay out what is working and faltering in existing and proposed solutions, and then present a plan to move from where we are to where we need to be.
